Joanie Beauregard-Veillette, osteopath
Joanie discovered osteopathy while seeking relief from her own injuries, accumulated over many years of volleyball training. After playing for the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees, she turned to yoga, a practice that allows her to restore balance to her body and recover from the impacts of intensive training.
A certified yoga teacher since 2013, an ELDOA practitioner (Longitudinal Stretching with Osteo-Articular Decoaptation) since 2015, and a holistic nutrition coach, Joanie began her studies in osteopathy that same year.
Now a mother of four young boys, she will graduate in the summer of 2023, after completing the entire theoretical and practical program. Thanks to her extensive training, she offers a comprehensive therapeutic approach, adapted to both toddlers and adults.
Elissar Hanna, osteopath
Elissar is a skilled and warm-hearted osteopath. Her approach is gentle, practical, and holistic, and she enjoys supporting patients in reaching their wellbeing goals.
Originally from Canada, her background is as a contemporary dancer, classical musician, and teacher of music, dance, and yoga for adults and children. In 2024, Elissar graduated with distinction from the University College of Osteopathy in the United Kingdom, where she earned a Master of Osteopathy following a 4-year full-time program. She then earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialist Paediatric Osteopathic Practice.
She offers several therapeutic approaches including manual therapy, soft tissue massage, taping, exercise prescription, and lifestyle advice. Having recently completed Hannah Poulton’s Women’s Health and Orthopaedic Scarring course, she also offers scar therapy.
In her spare time, Elissar continues to work as a composer-singer and enjoys yoga, cycling and wild swimming.
